Table for Four introduces couples in the same neighborhood — over dinner, mostly, and the odd outing besides. We make the introduction and the booking; the evening itself is yours. Using the service means you’re agreeing to what’s on this page.
The couple is the unit. Signing up means giving us your partner’s mobile number so we can text them their part — only do that with their okay, and only sign up people who are 18 or over. Your couple isn’t in the book until both of you have finished your halves.
Give us information that’s true. The lines your partner writes about you go out under your names, as written; if something on your card is wrong, text us and we’ll fix it.
$20 a couple per outing, charged to the card on file only when all four people have confirmed a booking. Until that fourth confirmation, nothing is charged — declining an introduction is free, always, and invisible.
Once you’ve confirmed, the $20stands whether or not you show up — it’s what holds the booking. If something comes up, text us as early as you can and we’ll be human about it. Whatever the evening itself costs — the bill, the tickets — is separate and entirely yours.
If the other couple cancels or doesn’t show, your $20 comes back in full — and the reservation is still yours if you want it. A booked table for two, already picked out: worse date nights have been had.
The service works because people who say yes arrive. If a couple repeatedly confirms and doesn’t show, or is unpleasant to the people we seat them with, we’ll take them out of the book. We’d rather be right than busy.
We’re the introduction and the reservation. We’re not the venue, we don’t run the evening, and we can’t promise you’ll like each other — we can only promise we thought about it. You attend at your own judgment, the way you would any evening with people you’ve just met.
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is capped at what you’ve paid us in the last twelve months.
You can leave whenever you like — the button is in your settings, and you’re out of the book with nothing further charged. Coming back is one tap, and a busy month can just be marked busy instead. We can decline or remove a couple at our judgment; if we do it mid-cycle, anything unearned gets refunded.
If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll text you before it takes effect. Questions: text a person at (408) 647-8913.
